Write On! also provides different size book-making templates and hardbound book covers. Teaching elementary school children to effectively write and publish their materialFounded by Heather Glass of Boise, Idaho, Write On! Teaching Materials provide a proven program to help 4th, 5th and 6th grade students write and publish their own stories. The program includes all the materials necessary for teachers to implement an after school or class writing program. Student authors receive instruction and direction on affective writing and are then able to publish their work. Write On! is truly a pioneer in that elementary school students get exposure with book writing, illustrating and publishing. Through Write On! Teaching Materials, children will learn the six writing traits in order to be more efficient young creative writers. Write On! provides children's book illustrating, miniature bookmaking templates, children's book covers, and other materials to start the program. Skills learned include: creative writing lessions, creative writing prompts, writing for a purpose, show versus tell, and other skills. This program gives teachers the materials they need to teach effective writing to elementary school children or to start a fun and exciting after-school writing program.
